Starting 2nd Grade

Our 2nd grade school year starts in 2 days!  I’m continuing with the curriculum I used for Kindergarten (Galloping the Globe) with Cantering the Country.

For phonics we will start with Explode the Code 2.  We will work our way from there.  I may switch to something else, but this will do for a last minute choice.

---

For math we’re using Singapore’s Primary Mathematics 2A and will hopefully continue on with 2B.  I used Singapore for Kindergarten and it worked just fine.

For handwriting we will use A Reason for Handwriting Manuscript B.
